Best total meal: Paris, of course. Le Stella, the brasserie in the staid 16th. Oysters. Bulots (sea snails) with mayonnaise. Rack of lamb with haricot verts and pomme frites. St. Marcellin cheese. Accompanying wines: Muscadet, Morgon. Ile flottante for dessert and Vielle Prune as a digestif.
